Alternative finance consultancy business, Snowball Alternative Finance is delighted to announce its inclusion in the Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme.
The programme now has over 300 partners who are working together to showcase the North as a great place to do business.
Speaking about their involvement, Peter Black, managing director of Snowball Alternative finance said, “We are excited about the opportunity to work with other ambitious businesses who share our vision of creating prosperity in the North and promoting why it’s such a great place to do business.”
Snowball Alternative Finance provides a specialist end-to-end service for businesses who are looking to grow and need advice on business planning, their funding strategy and the sourcing of finance. They work right across the funding spectrum from debt and equity as well as the myriad alternative finance options.

Based in Cheshire, Snowball Alternative Finance was launched last year by Black, a former senior banker, and North West entrepreneur, Alwin Thompson, having secured FCA approval. Fully independent, the company has access to over 300 funders in the marketplace.
Snowball is currently working on over 30 deals for SMEs in the North, worth in excess of £100 million and these are spread across the property development, transport infrastructure, information technology, engineering, energy, retail and food & drink sectors.
