This month we held our inaugural Snowball event bringing together 50+ entrepreneurs and business owners for ‘The Future of Your Business: Real Business Stories’ at the iconic Jodrell Bank in Cheshire.
The rationale behind the event was to bring together a room full of entrepreneurs and business owners to hear from a range of great speakers covering practical insights into the decisions that shape the next chapter of a business journey and the options open to them.
It was an event focused on hearing stories from those that have navigated these paths and the speakers shared their stories and experiences. It was a deliberate decision for it not to be a promotional event, but full of content instead.

When you’re running a business, it’s very easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, but the biggest decisions, the ones that shape the future, come from stepping back and gaining perspective, and hence the event to take people away from the day-to-day of business life.
Whilst we cannot ignore the backdrop against which all of us are operating, it is a fact of life that entrepreneurs have never built successful businesses by waiting for perfect conditions, and businesses are built in the real world.
Even in a market with complexity, there are still opportunities to grow, to invest, to fund ambition, to reshape ownership, and to realise value. It is precisely in periods like these that the best businesses and the boldest decisions stand out most clearly.
